Naked Truth Yoga is a proud member of the Yoga Alliance. Not sure what that means? Being a Registered Yoga School allows us to train you to become a Registered Yoga Teacher! The Yoga Alliance ensures that yoga schools are providing proper and safe training when training yoga teachers. In order to become registered with this group, your school must submit their training curriculum to the Yoga Alliance, who will then ensure that it meets and continues to meet their standards. Registration with the alliance gives a school like ours a recognized credential around the globe, whether that be for Yoga Training or Yoga Teacher Training!

As proud members of this alliance, we are happy to have our training reviewed by the Standards Committee (a group of experts in the field). They judge standards on: the five educational categories, trainer/faculty requirements and the face-to-face hours of contact instruction. The requirements result in making absolutely sure that the trainees who are registering with the alliance have the proper knowledge and skill set needed to train others to teach yoga. Contact hours ensure that you are learning from a teacher who has spent the time applying their knowledge in person before training others.

Social Credentialing in a fairly new part of the Yoga Alliance, which allows the now trained Registered Yoga Teacher to give reviews and provide feedback on their training received. This is just an extra security to make sure you are trained by the best! This information can also be accessible on the yoga schools profile page or on the Yoga Alliance’s public directory.
